yay my birthday! <3

haha ok i'll start from the day before my birthday, which was a training day. i received a long sleeved nike shirt from the sec 3 jumpers, wanyi and andrea. it has pink sleeves and looks really pretty! yay someday i'll wear it out with you all ok? although i haven't found a bottom that goes with it. :P and then at rj my sec 4 (heyy they're sec FOUR!) seniors gave me this...purple bag from the body shop and it contains cute shampoo and conditioner stuff. there was also this pink glittery comb...well it was just very cutish-sweet la! haha thank you people! :D

and to the people who sent me birthday messages (dynna, xiaohui, lulu, dennis and sabby), thank you! it was really sweet of you! :)

and then on my birthday, my friends, ex-classmates and classmates gave me a nike watch! it was so cool i really really love it. :) ok i shall attempt to list the people...i don't know everyone so sorry if you had a share in my present but your name is not here! ok the people are: ju ju (who paid for at least one third of the price), leanne, sharon, sam cheok, jane, yijun, nicole, karen, tingwen, jiajia, vera, dynna natalie (my mortal!) and a lot of other people! THANK YOU ALL! o and during recess they celebrated my birthday for me with a huge cheesecake (which i had some difficulty cutting :P), and it was delicious! and i'm sorry that those people who actually paid for the cake didn't get their fair share, either because we all had different lunches, or there were simply too many people. ". heyy i tried to save this piece of cake for the people who weren't there ok! but then people just kept poking into it (accidentally) so in the end it became rather little...well anyway they sang the birthday song and it was so loud michelle (tan) claimed she could hear it from the toilet on the third floor.

and during chemistry, jia jia, vera, shumin, priscilla, shuning and ruiyi popped in and shouted "happy birthday shiqian!". i really didn't think they would do that cos they knocked the door while ms tay was teaching! >< but anyway it was sweet, although ms tay gave me the -_- look afterwards. but she was nice la, and said, "ok, happy birthday." later on. haha i'm just glad it was a nice teacher's lesson, otherwise they would risk getting scolded...anyway thanks!

yay i have such sweet sweet SWEET friends! i'm really really grateful that you all made my birthday so enjoyable for me...i think it was my bestest birthday ever! :)

yay i'm in a good mood now so i love everyone! whee i'm HIGH! ^.^ once again, thank you all everyone!!!

OBS!!!!

it was fun, but not as fun as i had expected it to be. all of us got residential, and the ri boys got mobile. we had nice beds but for the first night we went to sleep outdoors. o and the food was satisfying...though juju kept getting gastric pains...

during the first two days we didnt do much...only a bit of rope elements and some kayaking lessons. haha...but on the third we kayaked for around 8 hours, 13 km in total!! i was praying and praying that we dont capsize...but we still did in the end. -_- what luck man! when we finally reached shore everyone thought we could all lie down by the beach and take a nice long rest...but then it was low tide and so it was extremely muddy. it felt like quicksand, cos when you stick your foot in its really hard to get out. some people had to be pulled out with the help of others. and plus there were mud-skippers and crabs and sea cockroaches and god knows what else inside the mud, we were all kind of freaked. then we helped carry the kayaks to the washing point and we sang "...working at the KAYAK wash..." as we cleaned the kayaks. this made the job a lot easier.

then the next day we set off to somewhere else...it was a sandy place and therefore had a lot of sand flies. i got 22 sand fly bites on my arms. :( its really ugly! and im trying hard not to scratch cos if not i'll be scarred for life! we had to change in the bushes and there were no toilets. :S it was GROSS. so people, good luck when your turn comes.

we had nice instructors, yong kang and berlinda! they were really funny and we tried to matchmake them together...but it didnt work very well cos yong kang was one year younger than berlinda...and on the last night we all stayed up and listened to berlindas sick sick SICK jokes. :P haha i havent heard sick jokes from someone whos more than ten years older than me...o by the way my watch was marshall, and when i checked the book i found out that lulu, zhixian and kitfei were from there too! kitfei even had a <3 track! beside her name...haha thats like her trademark already la! so leanne and jane put <3 track too!s behind their names...so funny! and lulus handwriting didnt change at all.

i love our class...the people are generally nice and we have a nice mix of people, which is why we work quite well together. i wish i could do it all over again...although i was really dreading it when i was kayaking and trekking...but it was fun alright. :)

blah i am tired. tomorrow still have to go for house prac. :(

one week has passed and the sec one orientation has ended. haha so now i have juniors two years younger! :D fun fun FUNN!

i like our teachers! they are all very nice! well all except the pe teacher. i can't stand her...she seems so hostile. she told us in her old school she used to scold people a lot and that she wants to try to be different in this school cos she wants to start anew. well she's off to a bed start for sure. but besides that all the teachers are nice. even prama...we all thought she would be scary...but no! she's really very funny and nice! haha! our chinese teacher is very ncie too...she let us hand in our scrapbook on monday cos we complained we couldn't finish it. :P i haven't finished mine yet...still got around four pages left. blah i feel guilty. i spent a long time on the commonwealth essay. but it turned out sucky anyway. ah forget it la. i was never a good writer. anyway why do we have to do it huh? it's the same every year! it's not like i'm ever going to write something that's actually nice...they should just get the people who are good and those who WANT to try to go for the competion, and i happen to fall into neither category.

i'm going obs next week! yay! haha i want to have fun! but then again i don't want to have to go into the water...i can't swim! which is why i don't have a swimsuit. and obs means that i don't get to go for training for a week. boohoohoo! i hope i'll be excused or my attendance is going to die! and i'm going to miss all my track friends! haha are you all going to miss me too? :P

haha alrighty i have to go and do my scrapbook, if i don't complete it i'll feel really guilty...especially now that i'm the chinese rep. :P

alright, alright, i'll blog.

it's been a long time i admit. i can hardly type properly anymore.

i can't believe school has already started. i'm still in the holiday mood and i'm sure i'm not the only one. and i'm in sec three, which sucks, really. i think it's the worst year in sec school. i don't know why, but i just have something against being 15. fifteen. see how ugly it sounds?

and they made us go for training on the very first day of school. it was never like this i remember. ok so it was a slack training, but the whole time i was in school i was thinking of running off. i don't want to train. i don't want to be back in school even. i want to go orchard and watch nice movies [not that there's any now], or stuff myself full with japanese food, or shop [window-shop, really, cos i'm absolutely broke], or simply walk around. school is stressful. and i can't help feeling tired and sleepy throughout the day. lethargy, you might call it.

when i reach home the first thing i realize is that i haven't completed my scrapbook. i really don't want to do it. i don't see the use of it, and i would rather they made us do book reviews like last time. rp is so screwed. i think i'd rather have my o levels. at least if i fail my a levels or something i won't end up with only a psle result slip. that's pretty much useless.

blah. i wanted this year to be a good year. but i don't think i had a good start. well hopefully i'll become more hardworking when i get out of my semi-trance. gah i want to sleep. bye. :(
